Copyright, Licensing & Image Usage Terms
1. Copyright Ownership
All photographs displayed, sold, or otherwise made available by Kieran Conquest Photos remain the intellectual property and copyright of Kieran Conquest Photos unless expressly stated otherwise in writing.
The purchase or download of a photograph does not transfer copyright ownership or any other intellectual property rights to the purchaser.
2. Purchase & Licence
Purchasing an image from Kieran Conquest Photos grants the purchaser a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the purchased image only in accordance with the licence terms stated at the time of purchase.
Unless a different licence has been expressly agreed in writing, purchased images are licensed for personal, non-commercial use only.
The licence does not grant permission to:
Reproduce, redistribute, resell, or commercially exploit the image.
Upload or publish the image to websites, publications, advertising, promotional materials, or other commercial platforms.
Use the image to promote a business, driver, team, sponsor, product, service, event, or organisation.
Alter, edit, crop, filter, manipulate, or otherwise modify the image for publication, except where expressly permitted by Kieran Conquest Photos.
Grant, transfer, or sublicense the image to any other person or organisation.
Submit the image to third-party publications, media outlets, competitions, agencies, or other organisations without prior written permission.
3. Social Media Usage
Images purchased for personal use may be shared on personal social media accounts where permitted by the applicable purchase licence.
An image may not be posted or published without purchasing the appropriate licence.
This applies even where:
The Kieran Conquest Photos watermark remains visible.
Kieran Conquest Photos is tagged or credited.
The photographer is mentioned in the caption.
The image is cropped or edited.
The image is shared from another person's account.
The image is obtained through a screenshot, preview, download, or other means.
Retaining the watermark or providing photographer credit does not constitute permission to use an image.
Where social media use is permitted under the purchased licence, crediting @KieranConquestPhotos is appreciated but does not replace the requirement to purchase the appropriate image licence.
4. Commercial, Team, Sponsor & Promotional Use
Use of an image by a racing driver/athlete, team, sponsor, manufacturer, business, organisation, event promoter, media outlet, or other commercial entity is considered commercial or promotional use unless expressly agreed otherwise.
Such use requires a separate commercial licence or written permission from Kieran Conquest Photos.
Examples include, but are not limited to:
Sponsor or partner advertising.
Team websites and press releases.
Driver/athlete or team promotional material.
Race team marketing.
Sponsor campaigns.
Merchandise.
Advertising.
Editorial publications where a commercial licence is required.
Paid advertisements or sponsored social media posts.
Purchasing an image for personal use does not grant permission for any of the above uses.
5. Unauthorised Use
Any use of an image outside the scope of the licence granted constitutes unauthorised use and may constitute an infringement of copyright.
Kieran Conquest Photos reserves the right to seek appropriate remedies for unauthorised use, including requiring the immediate removal of the image and/or seeking payment for the applicable licence or other remedies available under applicable law.
Where an image has been used without permission, the subsequent purchase of the image does not automatically authorise previous unauthorised use.
6. Image Credit
Where credit is required or requested, the appropriate credit is:

Credit is not a substitute for obtaining the appropriate licence.
7. Watermarked Preview Images
Images displayed on the Kieran Conquest Photos website may contain watermarks or other copyright protection.
Preview images are provided solely for viewing and selection purposes. They must not be downloaded, screenshot, reproduced, published, or otherwise used without the appropriate licence.
Leaving the watermark visible does not make an image free to use.
8. Licence Scope
The specific licence attached to an image purchase takes precedence over the general personal-use provisions above where the licence expressly grants additional rights.
Any use outside the scope of the purchased licence requires prior written permission from Kieran Conquest Photos.
Requests for commercial, editorial, team, sponsor, advertising, or other extended usage should be made directly to Kieran Conquest Photos before the image is published or distributed.
9. Acceptance of These Terms
By purchasing, downloading, accessing, or using an image supplied by Kieran Conquest Photos, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to comply with these Copyright, Licensing & Image Usage Terms.
If you are purchasing an image on behalf of a team, company, sponsor, organisation, or another third party, you confirm that you have the authority to accept these terms on their behalf.
Kieran Conquest Photos reserves the right to update these terms from time to time. The terms applicable to a purchase will be those presented to the purchaser at the time of purchase, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
